  • ileus - obstruction of the bowel, characterized by distension, vomiting and pain
  • impotence - the inability of the man to have sex
  • inappropriate ADH - inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone (ADH), which suppresses the rate of urine production.
  • incoordination - a lack of coordination of movements
  • interstitial pneumonia - chronic lung disease affecting the interstitial (connective) tissue of the lungs
  • intestinal obstruction - obstruction of a part or parts of the intestinal tract
  • intracranial hypertension - abnormally high pressure caused by the buildup or poor absorption of cerebrospinal fluid in the subarachnoid space surrounding the brain. Also called pseudotumor cerebri
  • iritis - inflammation of the iris of the eye

 

 

 

Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis affects women much more frequently than men. Approx. 1.7 – 2:1 in the US and approx 3:2 in the UK. The ratio of white to non-white is approx 2:1.
